Tonight was one of those nights - Porter screaming non-stop, the kids fighting constantly with me and each other, me completely exhausted without an ounce of patience or energy left for any of it, Dave taking a final and nowhere around to help me get through it. I made a split second decision to stop it all dead in its tracks and try and get the Spirit back in our home. So - we had our meal replacement shakes for dinner (happy kids, no fighting or complaining, baby bouncing with joy instead of crying, greens and fruits to get them in after a lunch fail, and moms nerves intact through dinner). Then we air popped some popcorn and added coconut oil and salt and had a family movie night. WHEW! So grateful for such a simple life-saver, without a fast-food stop, when I needed it most! Its even more amazing that replacing just a few fast-food stops and nerve-racking dinners like this is what is giving us our debt-free dream!
