Tonight was our churchs Christmas Concert, and The Boys little kids choir was part of the lineup. He was right up front, looking sharp in his oxford shirt and Santa tie, singing his heart out for all 3 songs. In front of a packed church. He fiddled with the songbook, and he wiggled a lot, made faces between songs, and almost fell off the little stage once. But for my son, who has struggled so hard socially, and who still has anxiety and sensory issues, this was a huge milestone. Huge. He smiled. He enjoyed himself. HE SANG IN FRONT OF PEOPLE. I couldnt have been prouder if hed sold out Carnegie Hall.
