Tonight, we heard an exceptional sermon from Pastor Keith Wrenn from 1 Kings 17 - He brought out a point that I know very well, but apparently have been overlooking recently in regards to my life and His direction for my ministry. In order for Elijah to be obedient to and effective for Gods plan in his life (and those he would confront) he had to hide himself in chapter 17 (get alone with God) before he could show himself in chapter 18 and confront the king who was seeking to kill him. My prayer tonight was simply this God, whatever You desire to accomplish through my life and my ministry, here I am....use me....send me wherever, whenever, and however you choose. - So now, I await His direction! The Great I AM has indeed blessed me beyond measure!
