Tonight we went to Los Toros .... it is in the old Joses place. The chips and pico were spot on. The chips were warm, brown, and crispy and the pico had just the right amount of kick to it. Hubby had an enchilada and burrito and thought it was very good. I had the steak fajita quesadilla. I wanted to try it there to compare it to Marias. I did not enjoy it at all. It was very bland, the vegetables were limp and tasteless, and the inside was extremely mushy. The steak tasted like a cheap cut of meat. Now, I know thats probably what the norm is for this type of dish, but at Marias, the beef in the steak fajita quesadilla tastes like quality and is juicy and tender. Tonight it was thin, tasteless, and tough. So, in a nutshell, I choose Marias hands down over Los Toros.
