Tonight while getting my nails done, I sat next to a strikingly beautiful girl about 20 years old. I listened to her chatting with her friend for quite some time. They started talking about the large calluses on her feet. The girl quickly blamed her husband because he mandates she wears heels everyday and a heel height minimum of 3. She then started talking about how she misses working for the social aspect but quickly explained that just isnt possible since she needs to be available whenever her husband needs her. She finished the conversation by saying I guess I cant complain because he just bought me a Bentley and thousands of women would die to be in my shoes. I sat there with tears in my eyes. I so badly wanted to just get up and hug her. Tell her she is worth so much more. I wanted to tell her she matters. Then, part of me wanted to shake her. Give her some tough love like her friend should be doing and tell her there is more to life than this. As I walked out, I left a blitz card on that Bentley with one short message, You are worthy of great things! I know what it feels like to have lost your sense of identity but its never to late to find yourself again! Wherever you are, I am praying for you tonight sweet girl!
