Tonights #TXwine Hawks Shadow 2012 Tres Robles. We visited Hawk Shadow back Memorial Day weekend with Jeff and Gloria of TXwine Lover and Laurie of Wines At Roads End. *Tres Robles- (3 oaks) 7 barrels Mourvèdre 78%,1 Syrah 11%, 1 Malbec 11% all on the blend with 18-20 months aging in the 3 oak types. Strawberry, rhubarb, pomegranate profile with a bit of tightness and slickness (bottled maybe some time in March 2014). A nice soft red good for summer. Fruit from the Texas High Plains
