Tonights dinner: New York Sirloin seared in a cast iron pan with butter, rosemary, basil, garlic, black pepper and sea salt, then placed in a stainless steel pan inside the oven to cook at 260F with onions and a reduction of the drippings with sriracha, a dash of worstershire sauce and some vanilla mead poured over the top (of the steak, not the oven ;) ) Made herbed potatoes in the cast iron pan with more of those lovely herbs and the drippings/onions from the steak after it was finished cooking. Also made an Asiago/Parmesan/Mozzarella cheese sauce with a dash of sriracha to go over the broccoli florets. OMG so awesome!!!!
