Tonights game was the same old story of a Referee not stamping his authority on the game early on, letting players shout in his face (Didcot players) and as the game goes on, players get more and more tetchy, take liberties and thats when something bad always happens. Does feel like some teams in this league target weak refs from the start of the game & use it to their advantage. As for the football, great opening 15 mins, looked like the old pacy Sholing, swarming all over them & two excellent finishes by Sam. Shame some sloppy play let Didcot back in. Tighter in the 2nd half, some good saves by Matt Brown kept us in it, but we had a great chance when Motty had a free header but straight at the keeper. Think we perhaps could have brought on Wattsie 10 mins earlier as they were getting leggy at the back. Draw fair result. Anyone pick up the handbags the Didcot players were dropping at the final whistle?
