Tonights political pebble in the pond. I dont like flags. Flags, whether they be the swastika or the union jack are the branding of clubs, and I dont like clubs. Clubs assume a superiority for their members. The tattoo club, the long haired peace club, the yummy mummies coffee morning club, the Im going to get my tongue pierced because Im a rebel club, the Westminster government club, the rich bankers club. They all start out as I want to be different I want to make a difference I want to make a lot of money and end up as a club. A club that inflates egos and assumes undeserved importance. So I dont like clubs and I dont like flags in essence the branding of clubs. Oh and I dont like nationalism either. In an ever shrinking planet what does it add or contribute to a peaceful future? Pebble thrown.
