Tony Fitzgerald Tony Fitzgerald AC QC was chair of the Fitzgerald Inquiry (1987-89) into Queensland Police corruption. He was a judge at the Federal Court of Australia and Supreme Court of Australian Capital Territory, and was inaugural president of the Queensland Court of Appeal as well as judge of appeal at the New South Court of Appeal. Its easy to ignore injustice when were not personally affected, especially if we disapprove of those involved, but history shows that its unwise to do so.
