Tony update: I havent been online in several days. The ambulance brought Tony home Thursday afternoon. Hospice came shortly after and started services. We are making him as comfortable as we can. He is on morphine now for pain. He is still able to walk (slowly) with his walker. He is eating some and trying to eat more. The dr. took his port out in the hospital as they found it was a source of his blood infection. Right now his stomach hurts as the cancer has really spread. The doctors think the cancer has spread to his brain. He is confused at times and sees things. Hospice brought a hospital bed, bed tray, wheel chair and commode for when he needs them. The doctors give him about two months. I feel so hopeless as Im not ready for this. My heart is still in denial but my brain knows the end is coming to fast. I am constantly praying for him and to give me strength. This is the hardest think I have ever done and I feel like Im dying inside right along with him.
