Took Kelly to see the specialist about her recent diagnosis of scoliosis and he verified her curve at 31% after X-rays. He also did an X-ray of her hand to determine how much growing she had left to do. She will not have to wear a brace since he determined she was close to being done growing. She has some growth left but said at this point a brace would not be helpful. He expects her curve to progress some but did not expect it to increase to the point of requiring a surgery. Told her to keep being active and gave her no restrictions! He will recheck her in six months.
