Took Matthew to a pre-op appointment with his surgeon yesterday in preparation for his bone graft in August. When asked about his post-operative protocol, surgeon said he would be on a liquid diet for three months and could not participate in any activities that involved "a ball, wheels or a helmet". This is an eight year old boy who loves all sports, bicycles, scooters, mini-bikes - and most of all eating! Please pray for him (and us)! Made me think of "No more happiness!!!" - Brian Regan
