Took hubby with me to the LQS today, they sell and do in house repairs on Janome and Baby Lock machines. I was trying to be good, so I took the book on my New Home with me and said this is what I have and want a machine that will compliment it. Told them I would like to have a longer throw, duel feed, and possibly embroidery. Hubby, who is a computer programmer analyst, noticed the display screen on the machine we were standing by and started asking questions that I would have never dreamed of asking got me pointed to the Baby Lock Ellisimo Gold II. It took all I had to not let my jaw hit the ground when after being given the price he still told me to sit down and look at it. Well, who am I to argue? LOL Long story short - we arrived with 30 minutes left before they closed. Hubby and owner started walking around talking about different machines, sergers, and what Ive done and want to do while the sales representative patiently walked me through just a little of what the machine did. By patiently I mean she was there until an hour after closing no one rushing us at all! By the time we were done I was in love and hubby had prices on the sewing machine and Baby Lock Evolution Serger and they give interest free financing with up to a 48 month plan! Nothing is for sure yet - it all depends on hubbys bonus at work and qualifying for financing, but by May we should know exactly what is going on. Im in heaven and have been giggling since we left the store - just trying to keep hopes to a level where can stop squealing and dancing around the room. ------------------------------------------- Let me know your opinion on these machines!
