Took my class to recess today for the first time in forever. While watching kids play a boy walks up to me and we have the following conversation: Me: Whats up A? A: I think I broke my arm. (Said very calmly in a matter of fact tone) Me: What makes you think that? A then lifts this shirt sleeve and it became quite apparent that he had completely broken his arm since it was funky bent and dangling. I took A to the nurse and he was tough as nails until he got a good look at it and the pain hit him hard. He managed the pain really well until his uncle got there and freaked out at the site.
