Took our Son and Granddaughter on a tour of Historical homes Hackley and Hume in Muskegon. The last picture is the garage/barn they shared between the 2 homes. When Charles Hackley ( who became a lumber baron) came to Muskegon he had $7 and when he died he had $12 million and that was in the late 1800s and early 1900s. He was a generous man and left half of his fortune to Muskegon for a firehouse, library and other things to keep Muskegon a nice town so it wouldnt become a ghost town after he was gone. His home is over 6,000 sq. ft and had many stained glass windows and wood carvings all over the home. Magnificient. Fun afternoon.
