Took the dog for a walk. Turned the corner by the Hinkly house and Kenzie starts rubbing her back in a pile of what I thought was just leaves. Turns out it was a fresh doggie poo in the pile. We went right back to the house and into the shower. Glad I picked up doggie shampoo yesterday. She did great in the shower. Please understand up until two days ago I was strictly a cat person and never gave our cats a bath. Dont know yet if I got all of the fresh poo out of her coat....it was the exact same color as her fur. so far she smells okay. What an experience.... for me and for her. She was maybe used to a tub bath. Yes, I got wet too but had my raincoat on. haha
