Top 10 things i hate about jams in india- 1.Stop calling each jam as the countrys biggest ever and biggest this biggest that. 2.Stop playing Mixtapes at events, seriously that crap is wack! (I literelly know after the first interchange that its either leanrock, double p,etc, *Hire a DJ!) 3.Start Paying your local judges, PERIOD!! 4.Do Not Do not Do not call us at 7 in the morning when the event is actually gonna start at 2 pm. 5.Dont change dates,Judges, venue just a few days before the jam,it gets inconvineient for outstation cats. 6.Just like how a flex on the battle floor and a big backdrop has become a necessity in each event, spend a few bucks on beverage for participants (Bboys make the jam dope, thats the least youll can do,i know Naser would love this point, haha) 7.Let the judge(International) interact with the local guys who participated and let them take pointers which would help them grow, stop stop stop surrounding and protecting the judge like hes Barrack Obama, hes human, hes a bboy let him talk to bboys. 8.Emcees and rappers listen up when youll battle,Stop addressing women as Toys B***es,and if you think my point is invalid and thats hip hop,ask the women in your family to sit and watch you spit rhymes like that. (I would love to see their reaction) 9.Please pay the winners the exact amount promised to them regardless if your event was a success or not,pay them on time, dont make them wait for months, take their calls, reply to their msgs, these guys made your jam big, there are cats out there fighting hard battles in life and thats the cash they bloody earned,an organiser will never fail to take participation fee from us but when it comes to paying the winners it is usually delayed in most jams, can we pay the participation fee a month later? No right? lolwa wala scene.. 10.Lastly and the most important Point Do Not call every event a jam, there are bboy events and there are bboy jams, know the difference. Ps- this was not directed towards anyone in particular, this is what i have noticed for years,i know how hard it is to throw big jams and small jams as well, props to all those organisers doing the crazy work but do work on these issues as someone had to speak up someday.
