Top 20 Vertical Leapers in NBA History Its difficult to get consistent numbers on players vertical leap. One source will list Julius Ervings vertical at 41 inches, another at 42 inches, and a third at 43 inches. We compiled our list of biggest leapers examining a number of sources and always picking the players highest consistent reported vertical. We figured that was the only fair way to rank people.
