Top Rated #Free App (Free) Happy Geese This is a fantastic app for anyone who works with or is a parent to preschool and young elementary school kids! As a speech therapist I use board games all the time. Finally, a board game (its actually 2 games) that doesnt mean dragging an extra box with me into preschools, making sure I have all the pieces and chasing the die all over the room because 3 year olds usually send it flying of the table at least 5 times per game. AND you can customize the games. The app does have an in app purchase but its just for more boards (right now you get the extra boards for both games for $1.99-great deal!). The free version has all the features activated. You can customize the game board and die to move by colored spaces, shapes, letters or number on the die. You can choose options on the boards, such as no snake (get sent back) spaces in the Snakes and Ladders game. Great for small kids who get frustrated when sent back. My favorite option is the ability to make a player king or queen of the game (they win the game). You make the choice at the beginning of the game, nothing appears different during the game, so the kids cant tell the game is fixed. Great when youre playing with an easily frustrated child or when a child has lost a couple games in a row. For up to 4 players. There is background music that you cant turn off during the game setup, but it goes off once the game starts. I wish Id had this when my kids were younger.
