Top Ten Films of 2014! It wont come as a surprise to many to see this next film on my list, but despite my gross bias, its a really great movie. Captain America: The Winter Soldier Based on the story that made me fall in love with the patriotic super soldier (the Winter Soldier by Ed Brubaker), we see the return of Bucky Barnes - Steve Rogers closest friend, only hes been brainwashed by Hydra and turned into a deadly assassin known as the Winter Soldier. Not only has he arrived to make life difficult in the Marvel Universe, but the far reachings of Hydras influence is revealed and not even SHIELD is safe of its influence. Part superhero film and part political thriller, the Russo brothers really nail it. Chris Evans is perfection once again in his role as Captain America and is joined by Black Widow (who in this film made me actually like her, whereas I have hated her portrayal thus far in the MCU) and the Falcon (so glad hes here!) to fight against the enemy and bring down the corruption from within SHIELD. Also, Sebastian Stan is amazing as Bucky/Winter Soldier. Also - lets be real... this addition to the Marvel Universe made the television show Agents of SHIELD actually interesting. https://youtube/watch?v=7SlILk2WMTI
