Top of climb out of Jeddah this morning and I felt like Steve Mcqueen emerging from the tunnel on the Great Escape!!! No going back.....well at least for 10 days, when I expect to be recaptured and sent back to serve the next part of my sentence!!! Fabulous flight today, great weather and a brilliant crew......more food than the Borgias buffet table, which is.....not quite right......covered in more cling film than a public schoolboys packed lunch......why? Not sure how......but as the radio altimeter called 10 feet, I thought b******s, this will hurt......but it was like a cat weeing on velvet......dont know how that happened! but thank you pilot Gods! Well off to the Irish pub for beer and pork.....followed by more beer and pork.....I hope you are reading this in Jeddah Sir Freddy.....that is if there is any justice in this world! Toodle-pip...life is good!
