Top tune this! It makes me think about my mates that passed far too soon. Especially Scott Tonks and Ritchard Ritchie Montanna Mitchell. This song roughly came out when Tonks passed WAY too early at the age of 16. Out of the original crew theres only me and Feeg left. We used to get up to some crazy sh*t, if you werent growing up in the 90s you just dont know. Ritchards Grandas house on Marshial Street (above the Wimpy) was one CRAZY house. It was party central EVERY night. It basically had a revolving door of people walking in and crawling out. We even had our own Night Club thingie in the back room. I had myTechnics 1210s and my HUGE speakers down, they were nightclub decibel level speakers (My decks spent more time out of my own house than they did in it. They were always at some crazy party.) and we had hooked up some disco and strobe lights, it was mental. Poor Donna, Ritchards Ma didnt get any peace, Ritchard didnt give a shit. I had this huge amplifier and combined with the speakers and 1210s we could rival ANY nightclub in PHD decibel wise, and we sure did. Volume always cranked up to the max. The place was just mental. It was BY FAR the best time period in PHD. Always a party going on and new things on the go, if you ken fit I mean. Everything was new and exciting. After the pub and nightclubs came out everybody would hear us blasting the tunes and just pile into the house, especially fae the Granada since we were right above it. Folk would be standing in line listening to the clubs music waiting to get in and then hear our music was better, blasting out the window and theyd end up coming up to the house. Half of the folk that used to come up we didnt even know them. The Geordies f*cked that house and situation up for us. When they used to come home fae sea, theyd hae tons of cash, among other things. They just trashed the place. We were young, stupid, daft as f*ck and running a mock and I would change a thing. Maybe apart fae if there was something we could have done to prevent Tonks death but I dont think we could have, one or two people could have but Im nae opening that can of worms on here. when I left he was fine, wasted, but fine. We could write a book on the things we used to get up to. The 90s was a CRAZY time to be a teenager growing up and being game as f*ck. always a party going on or some crazy sesh or some mission to complete. It was brilliant, the best days of my life! Every time I hear this song it just makes me think of those days and my pals that Ive lost far too soon. R.I.P. Scott Tonks R.I.P. Richard Mitchell R.I.P. Aaron Arthur
