Topic: Stepping out to make a difference Preacher: Mrs Njideka Anyadike Date: 27th October,2013 Stepping out means one making a progressive move from where you are to the next place. Therefore stepping out to make a difference is making a progressive move filled with excellence to bring about a positive change. It means being a solution provider. God has equipped each and everyone with talents required to make this task possible; Luke 19:12-26. God that has deposited something in us to make a difference is ready to bless what He has put in us. What have you done with your talent?. one thing God is looking for is faithfulness of heart not the quantity of your blessings. We must be determined to make the move and with the right mindset of success and not failure, we will make the difference in our environment. We must also know that we are Gods handiwork. Ephesians 2:10 and He has not given us the spirit of fear 2 Timothy1:7 Must Do To Make A difference 1. You must know your God intimately to be able to step out and do exploit Dan11:32b. Read the word of God, hear and obey him completely. Spend time to worship him for the Lord dwells in the worship of of his people. We must be an embodiment of the fruit of the spirit, showing love and accommodating even the unbelievers. 2. You must know your Purpose/ Identity: Who are you?, Why were you created? Are you a Deborah (who was a Head of State), are you a Sarah( who saw her husband as the Lord). For each person, there is a personal purpose and general purpose for creation. The general purpose of creation of women among others is to bring forth children and nurture nations. Women therefore have the power of influence while men have positional power( ie as the head of the family) . For any woman to succeed in this role therefore, she must intercede for her family, her immediate sphere of influence and the nation at large. We are the light and salt of the earth and we must let our light shine bright in our communities and our flavour must not diminish Mattew 5:13-14. We must fulfill our purpose as an apostle in the market place, homes ,offices etc 2 corinthians 6:10 3. You must have understanding of time and season. We must arise and get to where God wants us to be at the appointed time. Equip yourself by reading and studying to get knowledge. Attend good programmes. Stop being afraid. 1 Peter 3 be diligent and raise children who will bear good fruits 4. Submit yourselves to your husbands and honour him.Your personal conduct must be above board. You must be submissive if you want to make a difference.
