Tornado Relief Donations In an effort to help the tornado victims whose homes were destroyed in the central Arkansas area Sunday evening, the Little Rock Athletic Club, Little Rock Racquet Club and North Little Rock Athletic Club are accepting donations for those in need. Our goal is to pack at least one Club van with critically needed items from each of our locations. As you have no doubt heard, items in demand include: cases of water, tarps, duct tape, batteries, sun block, diapers, paper towels, hand sanitizer, energy bars, toothbrushes, toothpaste, bar soap, shampoo, deodorant, liquid laundry detergent, air freshener spray, insect repellent, work gloves, saws, dust masks, permanent marking pens, heavy duty trash bags (garbage and yard sizes), various sizes of resealable plastic bags, non-perishable food items, pet food, plastic eating utensils and plastic bins. If you want to donate, please keep your donations to the suggested items above and do not send clothes, furniture or other goods not on the list. Once your items are collected, please bring them to either the Little Rock Athletic Club, Little Rock Racquet Club or the North Little Rock Athletic Club. We will accept donations until this Friday, May 2 at noon and will deliver the items on Saturday, May 3. Thank you in advance for your donations.
