The project later was changed to a next-generation project but has yet to be released, NOTE: This game had been confirmed as a project planned by the developer, but the team has since taken up alternate projects -- it is unknown whether Total Overdose 2 will be completed. Next in 2009: Total Overdose 2: Tequilla Gunrise is the cancelled sequel for Total Overdose: a Gunslinger´s Tale in Mexico, but Deadline Games closed the doors in 2009, more 2 games were cancelled, these were Killing Pablo Escobar, based on the real colombian drug lord Pablo Escobar, Faith and a .45, announced in 2008, it follows the story of Luke and Ruby during the Great Depression, and Shadow Hunter a pitch project. After Deadline Games closed the doors, former employers send screenshots and artworks of Killing Pablo Escobar, Total Overdose 2: Tequilla Gunrise and Shadow Hunter for unseen64.net, a site that preserves the betas and cancelled games.
