Touchy Subject: Racism in 2014! (IM NOT TALKING ABOUT ALL PEOPLE SO DONT COMMENT IF IT DOESNT FIT) I was watching The Oprah Show and some crazy stuff was on there. They had the skinheads reunite and apologize to Oprah years later. I feel some type of way because if you live in Texas, or ANYWHERE for that matter, you experience it everyday. The thing that keeps racism going is you teaching race to a child. We have to bubble in race on TAKS test, DL Applications, Job Apps, and many more things but we believe this is just normal. We learn one side of slavery in school each day; That whites owned us and that had to escape to get out until it became illegal. What about the fact that we had to be forced because we were rowdy and unwilling? We learn everyday that we are inferior to other races, and NOW, other races that are not black take on the same attitudes. They group latinos and blacks as scum of the earth that arent good for anything but cheap labor and populating jails. We accept the fact that our black women wake up each day and have to be subjected to OUR men telling us they only like light skinned chicks (who are usually biracial) and white girls and they secretly have to date us dark skin girls. We mock voices and accents EVERYDAY to stay on these corporate jobs but we claim we dont know racism. We were born into one race; THE HUMAN ONE! People create hate because you are BORN into love. Its crazy that nothing will ever change because black people will NEVER come together to get whats rightfully owed to them as a debt for all that was done to us. Instead, we do stupid ass shxt to get locked up, we breed babies we cannot take care of, and we are okay with making just enough money to live and TURNUP on. I cannot wait til Im financially stable enough to take care of some children because my kids are going to run this world......
