Tough Mudder was a piece is cake in comparison to the endurance required to pull off the days leading up to Halloween. My body is aching...When people say its a lot of work, my reply is its more a labour of love. However, my hands are physical evidence of the truth. Ive completely lost track of how many cookies have been handed out. If I were to guess, Id say 1500...? Many, many thanks to Erika Clare Condon for helping me make every one of them. Our voices are much more pirate now. I brought each of our meals outside to my First Mate Derek Condon this weekend. All of which were nibbled on between boarding visitors (cold)Yes, we put this on ourselves and we wouldnt have it any other way. Today Tortuga Tavern ((the garage))will stay closed today. The rest of course is open to enjoy and will be all week provided weather allows. Derek and I have actual paying jobs to attend today. Crossing our fingers that the weather is going to be less severe than projected and we can display everything as much as possible this week. I am grateful I have scheduled most of Tuesday, Thursday, Friday off. ((Derek has been getting up 3 hours earlier than usual to get his business done)) ...Thanks to everyone who joined us this weekend especially to Ellie Ericson for coming all the way out here in the pouring rain to capture many beautiful images Saturday night.
