Tour Update / Help ? We are testing out a Converted Box Truck on this tour since the death of our previous van took place a few months ago. We never posted this, but the first night of this tour, we spent broken down in Ozark, AR. It seemed like the fuel pump was failing. We were broken down for hours and then it just started after several hours of sleeping in the cold. That morning, we replaced the fuel filter. That seemed to do the trick for a while. In NM, on the Navajo Reservation, we noticed the fuel pump was not coming on, and again, it fired up after a few min. Last night, in Kingman, AZ (where we are now) we had some amazing people who wanted to help fix the fuel pump. Well, to replace the fuel pump the gas tank has to be dropped and the vehicle is so old, the bolts holding it were in risk of breaking, but the pump 100% has to be replaced. Moving forward, the bolts holding the tank which are part of the tank did break and now we need a new gas tank, too. Its a holiday weekend meaning most places will be closed Monday and currently we are in Kingman, AZ for possibly the next 3 days or however long it takes to find the part we need. We have some amazing people helping us find acoustic shows to play while we are here. In the meantime, if you want to, pray we can find the parts we need quickly so we can rejoin the tour we are on.
