We cycle down narrow lanes, over canals and past banana plantations to our overnight at a home stay. Day 2 Enjoy a boat journey to one of the Mekong islands, bike along narrow country lanes, easy dirt tracks and trails as you witness colorful riverside life and pedal past picturesque delta homes, and clack across innumerable wooden bridges to the Khmer town of Tra Vinh. Day 3 There is plenty to observe today - fishermen, village life, temples -- as we cycle scenic roads, crossing many small bridges, to Can Tho. There are many Khmer temples to stop and admire en route as well as Ba Om Pond with its magnificent lotus flowers. Day 4 Spend the morning riding to Phong Dien floating market where we weave through teeming market bustle along the banks of an active riverfront.
