Duties: - Development and upgrades at the Helping Hands Park. - Installation of various carpentry and plumbing requirements. - Landscaping; painting interior and exterior. - Cement installation knowledge. - Cleaning and maintenance. - Various related duties as required by partnering organizations to help maintain operations. Applicants will be expected to: - Work in a group setting and capabilities to work alone. - Availability to work various hours and days; ability to work in various outdoor weather conditions. Minimum Qualifications: To be eligible for a position you must be unemployed and meet one of the following criteria: - Be an individual who has established a claim for Employment Insurance (EI) benefits/ OR - Be an individual whose EI benefit period ended within the past three (3) years/ OR - Be and individual who established and was paid a claim for EI maternity or parental benefits within the past five (5) years and is re-entering the labour force after having left it to care for a newborn or newly adopted children.
