Tracey Trottenberg, Greg Hartle - $10 and a Laptop and I were hanging out tonight discussing the creative experience. Tracey shared that she really likes to know what goes through someones mind when inspired. We all agreed that we share that curiosity and we love to ask people what they were thinking when they thought of this idea or that. That made me think of the scene in the movie Get Shorty when John Travolta and Uma Thurman are meeting with Steven Tyler of Aerosmith! He challenges the iconic rocker to share what his inspiration was for the hit song Sweet Emotion. So I tried to find the scene on YouTube but was unable to uncover it. Its a great scene and I totally related to it because I love to ask those questions too. Apparently, based on our conversation tonight, Im not the only one. :-) So while I wasnt able to find the original scene I was looking for, I did find this one... Its also about motivation behind a thought. So Im sharing it here. Enjoy!
