Tracing patrilineage is the quintessential metaphor for the problem with overly male intellect. Its a problem of too-much depth, not enough breadth, and being overly certain in granted truths. From what we know of genetic studies, any family tree linked through fathers is nearly 100% incorrect after only a few generations. In case you hadnt yet thought of it, the liklihood of a child of infidelity creeping under the radar is obscenely high. (in ALL groups, your preferred perfect group included) Therefore after just a few generations the granted truth has a possibility of falsehood that has grown exponentially with each generation reaching close enough to a 100% error rate as to be granted false. Tracing matrilineage is the only one that works. No wonder the Isreali people do it that way! Its just more realistic. (plus it also has the bonus of ensuring the same set of mitochondrial DNA)
