Track is not closed, however Im sure these racing roadsters are retired. Track is Mount Lawn Speedway near New Castle, IN. This is the back stretch rounding second base. Prior to becoming a track it was a baseball field and is still laid out like a baseball diamond. Do not know who took the picture but one of the drivers is Ray Duckworth. He was the uncle of a buddy of mine. Duckworth was a driver and race promoter in the midwest and was the last promoter at Jungle Park race track. Jungle Park was located near Rockville, IN and was operated from 1926 through the 1955 and briefly in 1960. Jungle Park information was obtained from the book The Ghost of Jungle Park by Tom W Williams.
