Tradition in our family for girls. There is mom, my 2 sisters, myself, 3 nieces and 2 toddlers coming up. We started a quilt presentation day in 2003. Started with just 4 of us but as you can see we have grown. We draw names and get the one we have everything to make a quilt but the difference is in the presentation. I have attached a quilt I finished that my niece got me one year. The presentation Wes in a cooler with everything I needed for a picnic. Other ideas was another niece got me a Paula Dean big cook pot filled with food fabric and a book to make a reversible quilt which hangs on my kitchen wall. This year I got a vera Bradley bag in purples, my favorite color, filled with anything and everything purple and the quilt patterns and fabric was for Purple Reigns. The yellow quilt added was we also added 4sies gifts for mom and us 3 sisters and my one sister found this as a kit and bought it for us all. This tradition has become known around our town and last month the quilt guilt asked us to be their speaker so all 9 of us sat accross the stage with some of our finished and unfinished projects we have gotten and talked about it. This year u have my sister Vickie. She is a pianist and I got her a pain bag, scarf, gloves, clock as her presentation with the pattern Beautiful Music And all the fabric and backing for it. Ok.
