Traditional Thai Medical Massage Workshop/ Spiritual Renewal Retreat – Level I October 17,18,19, 2014. The Level I Thai workshop is for the therapist and non-therapist seeking alternative method of Oriental body work in the tradition of Nuad-Bo-Rarn. Thai massage is Sangha Buddhist tradition for over 2500 years old, which reflects the four divine states of mind of Buddhist tradition; loving kindness, compassion, vicarious joy and balance. This unique body work focuses on balancing energy and creating wholeness of body, mind and soul. Thai massage is an ancient form of healing which uses gentle rocking, deep stretching, rhythmic compression and thumb pressing to promote healing and vitality. Learn to open up Meridians, move energy and stimulate organ function through abdominal (Hara) and point work. Dr. Martinez-Hursh D.O.M. is a U.S/International instructor. Having trained in Thailand and has taught in Caracas, Venezuela, Cuernavaca, Mexico and in New Mexico. For her D.O.M. Credentials, she trained at International Institute of Chinese Medicine and in Chengdu Sichuan Provence in China. She also practices Mexican Traditional Healing and is also a Spiritual Director to the school of Inner Healing and Spiritual Growth. Dr. Martinez-Hursh is also the founder of the Mother of Mercy Acupuncture Clinic located here in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
