Traffic in Arithang Heard some bewildering news regarding new traffic regulations for residents of Arithang, Gangtok, Sikkim. During morning and evening hours they have been asked to use the Indira bypass road. This translates to 4-5 kms extra for a person travelling to the town. Hope there is a sane explanation for this. I bet this has sth to do with the regulators taking keen interest in health of the residents by encouraging them to walk than drive. A green revolution. Or perhaps there is some subsidy on fuel for the Arithang walas. Well, these are assumptions but no one seems to know the reason. #arithangtraffic #arithang #gangtok #Sikkim
