Traffic movement on Srinagar-Muzaffarabad road Thursday remained disrupted for fourth consecutive day due to continuous landslides at various places. The landslides were triggered by incessant rains in Uri sector of Baramulla district. Meanwhile, Nambla village Road is also blocked due to Heavy landslide Another village Tilwari continued to remain disconnected with rest of the district for 10th consecutive day as all routes connecting the village were blocked due to landslides. According to BEACON officials, the landslides and stone shooting continued at many places on Srinagar- Muzaffarabad road. “Around 600 vehicles were allowed to move to and fro after the debris and mud was cleared at various places. However the highway was closed for night,” said BEACON official, Major Mitra said.
