Trafficking is a serious issue, and in times of crisis like this, children fall easy prey to traffickers who exploit the helpless situation surrounding them. The hopelessness, poverty and chaos in the aftermath of a disaster leave children more vulnerable. Save the Children is working towards reaching the most affected families, especially children who have lost their homes and families to the floods, and have nowhere to go. Our priority is to create Child Friendly Spaces for children, so that in the midst of a difficult situation, children can be safe and be in a protected environment.
