Tragedy on Mt, Everest Im making this blog to reassure all the families of our group out here that everyone is ok and safe and sound, We are all saddened at the deaths of the climbers on Everest and news is only coming slowly from Base camp to who and how many lives have been lost. We wont speculate at the moment but seems to be one of the worst. We are in Lobuche with Paul Dev and Niall Byrne of the Irish 7 Summit team tonight and glad that they were not high on the mountain. If any family members are concerned please ring office for updates. +353 646644181. Communications at the moment difficult. To the families of those who are dead. Our thoughts are with them. We all pass on our sincere condolences to those who will not be returning to their Families. Climbers, Trekkers and all the Sherpa community are in shock of this sad occurrence.
