Tragic Snowmobile Accident On Grand Lake 1-25-14 - The Montezuma Fire Departmenthas recovered the body of 34 year old Dale Bruns of Fleetfoot Road, St. Henry. The Mercer County Sheriffs Office received a call at 1:20am. Seven deputies started a search for Bruns at that time. At daylight this morning other departments began to help with the search, including: Chickasaw, St. Henry, St Marys Township, Montezuma, Celina and the ODNR. 87 searchers were involved in the search at that time. At 9:57 am ODNR employess located a snowmobile helmet floating in the water just east of Dayton Island, approximately 500 yards the south shore in open water. Montezuma and St Marys Township firefighters recovered the body. The Mercer County Sheriffs Office is currently investigating the incident. mercercountyoutlook/
