Training or transforming? Below is close friend Deb again at the end of her third month. Pleased to report that Deb has delivered another smashing result in terms of progress this morning. Losing 15kg is one thing, but shedding a massive 8% in body fat, and building the same in her muscle mass, not only makes her look half her size, it has completely changed her life. Considering that 1% body fat reduction could equate to around 5cm on a midsection, then is it any wonder she is looking so different. You can lose lots of weight and still not rate well in the health stakes. When taking a bio age test, the biggest age reducer is improving your muscle mass. More muscle means more functionality, with the added increase of some anti aging hormones with it. Transforming one’s body is not dependent on how many dollars you spend either. Deb has spent around $150 to look and feel like a different person. Arming yourself with some basic rules for nutrition, means knowing how to make better choices anytime and anywhere. Deb doesnt count a calorie, enjoys her dark chocolate after dinner most days, and admits to the odd bucket of chips with the kids on an outing. Success simply equates to consistency. Each week she is making sure that she is eating well for the most part, making the right choices whenever she can, and training in a way that improves her health for the long term. Putting yourself on the right type of training, getting stress down, improving sleep quality, along with the sort of eating that nature intended, means a healthy ongoing relationship with food, more time to do what really matters, and living your life with the energy and body that nature intended.
