Transition Day Today day is the day when all our students stay home. The new 2015 Year 9 students spend the day with us to begin the process of their high school life. Coincidentally, our principal, Mrs Forbes received an email from a parent of one of our current year 9 students today. I have included a little of that email below. - Wow, thank you. We wanted to thank you and your amazing staff for their fantastic support and care of XXXXXX this year. Starting high school could easily have been an overwhelming and unsettling time but instead Bayfield has had an incredible ability to make the transition from intermediate smooth and supportive. The fact that there is an amazing level of care not only from teachers to students but from students to students has been a great source of comfort to us all. Your peer support programme in Term 1 in particular was integral to this process and all involved should be congratulated. XXXXX has thrived academically and has had a wonderful year in terms of subjects taken and new challenges experienced in what is an outstanding curriculum and school environment.
