Transportation Data Collectors...Job Opportunity with SRPEDD SRPEDD is seeking temporary, part-time data collectors to be available for variable work assignments from now until June 30, 2014. We are looking for responsible people with flexible schedules, who are physically able to read and write while on a moving transit bus. Attention to detail is essential. Knowledge and understanding of transit is helpful. Data collectors must accurately report number and location of passengers boarding and deboarding, as well as odometer readings and times at each bus stop where passengers board or deboard. The work schedule and the number of hours will change each week, depending upon agency needs and the number of available data collectors to take on assignments. Work hours will take place between Monday and Saturday, and may be between 5:00 AM and 10:00 PM. Assignments will be throughout southeastern Massachusetts, wherever SRTA and GATRA buses operate. SRPEDD will provide mileage reimbursement and training. Hourly pay is $12.00. There are no other benefits provided.
