Travel tip. If you only drive scooters/motorcycles when abroad, never, never be persuaded to park your scooter in a car park which involves a short, steep slope followed almost instantly by a barrier. Coming off and hitting and flying over a bollard can be very painful, lead to bed rest, you hobbling around in pain for an as yet unknown number of days and being stared st while very slowly climbing up 3/400 steps up the side of a mountain. Still, could have been worse; at least I recovered enough by today to avoid the $1.50 cost of the lift up the mountain!
