***Travelling with your dog*** Correctly restraining your dog whilst travelling can prevent hefty fines! Dogs travelling inside the car should be restrained in a harness or cage, or alternatively behind a cargo barrier. This ensures your dog cannot jump out the window, distract the driver or be thrown from the vehicle in the case of an accident. They should also keep their head inside the vehicle as bugs and dirt particles can enter a dogs eyes, nose or ears. Dogs travelling on the back of vehicles need to be tethered or caged so they can not fall off whilst travelling. Red dog is modelling some options available including doggles to protect her eyes!
