Trenton-Morrisville bridge off ramp to be closed this weekend The off ramp from Route 1 north to Route 29 (first exit in New Jersey after the Trenton-Morrisville Toll Bridge) will be closed Friday night into Saturday. The 25-hour-long closure is needed to allow for concrete roadway replacement work and road patching, according to the Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission. The travel restriction is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. Friday and end 8 p.m. Saturday. Detours will be posted to provide motorists with alternative means of access to Route 29 and nearby Ferry Street in Trenton. The travel restrictions are subject to change due to weather, emergency, and traffic considerations.
