Tribal over-identification and attacks on out groups are the source of endless misery and wars in so many nations. Members forget that we are all humans underneath regardless of out tribes of origin. I was heartened to read a lot of humanistic articles in the Jews for Justice for Palestinians website jfjfp/. This is beyond being pro-Israeli or pro-Palestinian and more about a higher justice and the disproportionate response of a stronger state against a weaker.
