Tribute to the Martyrs of Ladakh Ven Lobzang Tsondus & Tashi Wangchuk lost their lives during the 1981 riot when they protested for Scheduled Tribe status demand for Ladakh. While Tsewang Dorjay, Ngawang Rinchen & Tsering Stobdan died demanding Union Territory Status for Ladakh (Which was later propagandized by giving LAHDC). Its because of the sacrifices of these grat people that the present generation and also the future generation is enjoying such benefits & equal treatments from the Govt. On 27th August 2014, the Martyr day will be observed at their Memorial Stupa by offering a Large Prayers ritual in tribute & remembering their selfless contributions.
