Stayed October 2014, traveled on business “They saved our trip!” 5 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 days ago NEW We had our flight bumped and had to scramble to get to Orlando earlier for a visit to the Waldorf Astoria ( see review, this place was amazing). I booked on Priceline for a great price to arrive late on a Friday night. We had a horrible flight that was twice delayed and bumpy only to arrive and realized we had a major luggage malfunction, both wheels on my brand new large bag had been sheared off and the 50lb. bag would not roll. We arrived at the hotel around 10PM and I asked the two girls at the front desk about somewhere to get luggage. They were awesome. Both told us not to worry, gave my wife and two teenagers so warm chocolate chip cookies and sent us up to our room to get situated. I came down about five minutes later and asked if they had called a cab to take me to a 24 hour Walmart nearby. They again told me not to worry, but that a cab would take a long time to arrive this late at night, as I began to panic the young lady told me that the shuttle driver would take me and wait. WOW! Within 20 minutes I was back in my room packing my new suitcase. They saved the day. My wife and I decided to de-stress and have a drink at the bar. It was a really nice experience. The old-fashioned I had was excellent and the homemade chips and salsa were, well, actually home-made. We spent some time talking to the bartender, I wish I had written her name down, she was really nice and could tell we had a rough night. When we retired to the room I took notice that it was actually really nice. It was clean, modern and big enough for the four of us. In the morning we took advantage of the buffet and really enjoyed it. They make omelets to order (order from the table) and had excellent French toast. We were only in the hotel for about 12 hours but it was a great experience and a good representation of the Hilton brand and their hospitality. I would stay here again. The staff at the front was gracious and patient with my tired questions and then gave me a warm cookie with my room key. The room was large the balcony overlooked the indoor eating area and the classical music was a soothing background for my morning. Very close to the airport. I was very y with my stay. Thank you for posting. “Relaxing Airport Hotel” 5 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 week ago To the wonderful lady at reception who checked me in after my 20 hour flight from Sydney, I say thank you. You were kind hearted, welcoming, patient and definitely made a lasting first impression once again proving that a single person can make such a huge difference to impressions of a hotel or travel experience. The room was clean, the room was quiet, bed comfortable and the shuttle service to and from the airport (although a little hard to find at the airport but more an issue for MCO airport) was well run and offered regular transfers. The hotel offered great value for money and a good nights sleep after a long flight. Room Tip: Some rooms offer a good airport view.
